UQ's School of Psychology operates two specialist onsite psychology clinics:
UQ Psychology Clinic
The UQ Psychology Clinic is an outpatient psychology clinic service providing quality assessment and treatment services to the public. Some clients are referred to the clinic by a health professional however appointments can also be made by contacting the clinic directly. The clinic offers individual, couple, family and group therapy for all ages.
The UQ Psychology Clinic provides advanced level training for clinical psychologists and clinical neuro-psychologists. Therapists at the clinic are provisionally registered psychologists, who are supervised by experienced clinical psychologists.
Child and Family Psychology Clinic – Triple P
The Child and Family Psychology Clinic is a specialist centre operated by the Parenting and Family Support Centre in the School of Psychology. All programs are provided by experienced clinical psychologists or psychologists undertaking advanced level training in clinical psychology at UQ.
The Child and Family Psychology Clinic provides assistance for parents who are concerned with their child's behaviour or emotional adjustment. The clinic offers specialist clinical psychology assistance and practical parenting information, advice and support for parents of children of all ages, from infants to teenagers.
