The School of Pharmacy offers an established suite of Postgraduate Coursework programs for registered pharmacists.
- Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy
- Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy
- Masters of Clinical Pharmacy
These programs are designed to develop the clinical practice of pharmacists, and aims to enhance their contribution to the multidisciplinary team and patient care, in current and future clinical roles.
A multi-disciplinary team approach is used in the delivery of all programs, which includes input from clinical pharmacists, medical practitioners, specialist nurses and academia.
Programs are now offered totally online, with regular online evening tutorials to facilitate student interaction and small group learning. An optional face to face weekend is offered in some courses.
Flexibility exists for part-time students to further reduce their study load and undertake only one course at a time.

Intern Training Program / Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice
UQ’s Pharmacy Intern Training Program (ITP) provides intern pharmacists with specialised training and skills in pharmacy practice.
This unique program combines academic excellence with pharmacy practice to provide intern pharmacists the opportunity to build on their ITP year and obtain formal postgraduate qualifications, with the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice by completing one further year of study.
