Master of Physiotherapy

The Master of Physiotherapy provides Physiotherapy graduates with advanced, specialised training. Studying a Master of Physiotherapy at UQ allows you to undertake specialised studies in either Muscoloskeletal or Sports Physiotherapy. Adding an additional semester of study will allow you to obtain a second masters degree in the alternate area. Upon completion of the degree, you will fulfill requirements for membership of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia or Sports Physiotherapy Australia.

Master of Physiotherapy Studies

Studying a Master of Physiotherapy Studies at UQ will prepare you to enter the Physiotherapy field with an integrated body of knowledge, the clinical abilities, problem-solving skills and professional attributes to become a successful Physiotherapist. You will learn the principles of scientific method, critical analysis and research design and be able to apply them during your clinical placements. As a UQ Physiotherapy graduate, you will be accredited with the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
